Triora is a medieval village at 780 metres above sea level, at the top of the Valle Argentina, inland from Sanremo and Taggia. It's known as the Village of the Witches for the witch trials of 1587-1589, and it belongs to the national Città del Pane (Bread Towns) association.

The air and water here are the secret of our bread. Stone alleyways, archways, the bell tower looking out over the valley, chestnut woods and the Ligurian Alps all around.

## How to get there

From Sanremo or Arma di Taggia, follow the SP 548 up the Valle Argentina: Badalucco, Molini di Triora, then Triora. It's about 35 km and 50 minutes by car from the coast. The bakery is at Corso Italia 37, in the centre of the village.
